Blackberries undergo energetic reaction after 10 seconds in the microwave
Something completely unexpected happened when I threw some frozen berries into the microwave to thaw. Within a few seconds jets of flame burst from the berries in a very robust and energetic fashion.
I’ve thrown this stack together whilst dealing with many other issues so it’s kind of lame on the presentation side. Nonetheless any thinking human will see the relevance of the revelations herein. I will swear there was no adulteration of the samples on my part.
The sample has magnetic properties
Want proof?
I would. Go to Walmart now and pick up a couple of bags of Great Value brand frozen mixed berries. Maybe even buy them all. Filter out the blackberries and do your own testing. Try some other brands with blackberries. TEST the residue. There must be leftovers from the reaction that can be easily analyzed and identified.
Givens:
Bag of frozen berries, mixed from my freezer that was factory sealed until I opened it moments before observation of the anomaly. I’ve had it for at least 1-2 years in the freezer. Photo below.
Brand: Great Value purchased from my local Walmart in person. The bag says product of Chile. No one else was in the house except, perhaps, undetectable aliens from wherever lounging around in my domicile. j/k.
Time to fission: approximately 10 seconds
Duration: 1-2 seconds
Unusual characteristics: the berries contain something MAGNETIC. Seriously, WTF.
This anomaly is REPEATABLE. I bought two more bags at less than $4 each and observed reactions from EVERY BAG even though the ones I just bought are at least a year older although, they could be from the same original lot. No math required here.
Is this a kill switch mechanism? What else?
[UPDATE 01 05-17-24 ]
This is in response to some of the questions.Thank you to those taking the time to ask them.
Vessel: I tried two different vessels. The rock glass shown and a small glass bowl. I was able to get a reaction in both cases.
Magnetic Aspect: The samples do not seem to have a detectable weight difference. and appear completely normal. While you can feel the magnetic interaction it is slight and non polar. I theorize that there is some consentration of metallic nano particles oriented randomly. How they got in there is a mystery. Perhaps they were soaked, sprayed or had some other treatment applied to them. Perhaps they are artifical or grown. Paging Mulder and Scully. I will try with a stronger magnet to see if I can get something to stick. I kept all the samples and have them tagged and bagged.
Further Sampling: I plan on testing some other suppliers. I did not test the other fruit 100% (strawberries & blueberries). I tested about a half dozen and only the blackberries get excited.
I’d like to see some others try this themselves and find out their results.
A ceramic bowl of a popular brand cereals circles I had forgotten to add milk to initiated an explosion and flames into the microwave oven. I switched for a paper bowl, same thing. Tried my organic cereals in a paper bowl, ditto.
Our cereals contain metals, graphene? How about our flour or bread or cookies? Just a thought…
Regards.
Good idea for testing for something wrong in food. Zapp it.
